KEITH & RENEE JOHNSON

Keith transferred from York College in Nebraska to Abilene Christian University where he met Renee. They married in California in December 1989. They have three children: Janessa (who is married to Jacob and has a daughter, Ada), Janelle and Keegan. The family moved to Searcy in 2014 where the girls attended Harding University. This also gave Keith the opportunity to pursue a degree in Biblical studies through the Center for Advanced Ministry Training at Harding University.

Keith and Renee spent 30 years working with youth in ministry; he now works with World Bible Institute as the coordinator for African preaching schools. He travels to Africa three times a year to teach short courses and check on preaching schools. Renee works as an administrative assistant at Harding University in the Department of Communication.

Keith has served as an elder at Cloverdale since 2019.

Lesser-Known Facts

Keith was born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. Here his love for missions and the lost was born. He has nine siblings. Renee was born in Houston, Texas and has one younger sister. Keith and Renee have lived in California, Hawaii, Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Mission Work

Keith has been working with World Bible Institute since 2018. He is the Africa Coordinator and oversees different Bible Preaching schools on the continent.
