MINISTRIES

Our Cloverdale College Ministry serves over 100 students from Harding University. In a variety of ways, we seek to integrate our students into congregational life and help equip them for service in God’s kingdom after they move on from Searcy.

Graceland is our Sunday and Wednesday Bible School program for our students in 1st-6th grade. Our students love rotating through the Daily Bread Cafe, Museum, Creation Studio, Theater, Game Room, and Flowershop, and we love the depth and intergenerational nature of the curriculum, as we study how the story of the Bible fits together and encourages us to live as disciples of Jesus.

Involvement in Missions has been a significant part of Cloverdale’s DNA from the very beginning. Currently, we support missionaries and mission works in Cameroon, Japan, Brazil, Africa, Vermont, South Florida, and Little Rock, Arkansas, as well as working in conjunction with World Bible School and Harding University Global Outreach Campaigns.

Our Youth in Family Ministry works to help cultivate a lifestyle of discipleship in our 7th-12th grade students. We seek to do this by equipping parents to build faith and disciple their children at home. We also want to connect our students to our faith family using the resources of older Christians to teach and mentor those who are younger.

The B.E.S.T. (Building Encouragement, Seniors Together) Group meets on the third Saturday of each month at 11:30 AM for a themed luncheon in the Fellowship Hall, and also take periodic group trips together.

Healthy marriages and families are vital to a life of faith, and our Marriage & Family Ministry seeks to provide resources to help in these areas, including the Reengage Marriage Class, periodic Date Nights, and Family Lab, a cohort of parents that meets in the summer to share stories and experiences as we seek to better parents our kids to be disciples of Jesus.

Our Women’s Ministry is very active, planning yearly Ladies Retreats, meals for those who are experiencing times of joy and sorrow, the yearly Ladies Christmas Tea, showers, Ladies Bible classes and more.

Our Small Groups meet throughout the school year on Sunday evenings. Each small group determines its own schedule, topic, and location. One group meets at the church building at 5 PM each Sunday evening. Small Groups are a great way to develop more intimate relationships within the church family and practice a lifestyle of discipleship together.

High-quality Bible study is a major component of spiritual growth, and we heavily emphasize Education at Cloverdale with classes for all ages on Sundays and Wednesdays, along with special seminars and studies.
